On this website I also saw many different articles that went into depth about titles. But these articles were different they only focused on one movie or film at a time and they explained to who the whole concept of the movie. These articles weren't wholly focused on sequence or why the creator chose to got with a title as such, it was more focused on the creativity side. This article went into depth about the creativity of the article and why it was created that way. They not only focused on titles for film but also for festivals, conferences, workshops and other creative shindigs. What I've learned from this website is its all about the creativity. I've found out that writers often find this challenging as well. This whole time I thought coming up with titles was easy but this website proved me totally wrong. To create a good title it has to be very creative to the point where it matches the creators liking plus the liking of many more, the audience. Everything has to be

On this website I seen many articles going into depth about how and why titles are formed or created. These articles weren't written by any expert but they have taught me a lot. These articles really analyze each title and connect it with the movie, that's something an ordinary person would skip over. I've learned that a title is not just put there. A title is always connected to a movie some way some how. Titles are created to create sequence. For instance, love film titles often include color with poputouri effects, shapes, layering mystical imagery, archival photographs and cutout headlines. I've never noticed it before but without that sequence the movie would have never gotten recognized. Most people believe that trailers draw attention to a film although that may be somewhat true, that's not all. This website has taught me that the attention comes from the title, everything starts with the title. You never see a boring title and if you have its more than like

Genre Decision Blog

Image
For my opening sequence I have decide to go with the Action genre. As stated in my pitch blog I'm doing a teenage girl that suffered brain damage from a tragic accident tries to trace her steps from that morning to find the suspect. I wanted this to start off as what happened, which is the part the teenage girl cannot remember sort of like a timeline. Obviously since she suffers from brain damage someone had to do something bad to her and that's where the action part comes in. Since we are only doing the first two minutes I figured action would be the best genre to make all that come to play. Action movies are all about the suspense. Being that I personally love the violence part of it like fighting, chases, explosions, etc. I thought that for this final task I should in-cooperate that in there so that way I would find it a bit easier because I'm doing something that I would have liked to do in the first place. In the beginning of some popular action movies they do sort of

Action:   Common CAMS: Common camera shots in action include establishing shot, master shot, close-up, wide shot, two shot, ariel shot and point of view shot.  Common camera angles include canted angle, and low angle shots. Common Camera Movement include Steadicam, handheld and zoom. Common composition include focus pulls, shallow focus and framing.  Common CLAMPS: Common costumes for action movies often just resemble regular clothing in the modern day world. Some films like superhero films have their own custom clothing such as batman, in this typical film he always has on a black suit with his black cape and bat ears. Common lighting includes high key lighting and lowkey lighting.  Common acting for this film is often very serious or dramatic. This is so the viewer feels the sense of suspense happening. It could also include very scared or frightening acting to get a suspense feeling.  Common setting for a action movie is often outside. Film examples: Avengers End Game Spiderman Far

My pitch

Image
Pitch 1: A teenage girl with memory loss try's to trace time to remember what happened the morning her parents were killed. Pitch 2: A teenage girl that suffered brain damage from a tragic accident tries to trace her steps from that morning to find the suspect.  I'm interested in both of these pitches because as you can see they both are literally the same idea. I wanted to go with something eye catching and dramatic. I want to dispute everything I learned this year with this task. With that being said I needed something challenging but yet again on my level. I've always seen movies start off with little clips in the beginning of what lead up to the events in the movie, kind of like a timeline and that's what I'm hoping to achieve. I know this may come with a risk. It may end up looking like a trailer or a short film. This could be avoided if I execute my idea right. The pitch I decided to go with is a teenage girl that suffered brain damage from a tragic accident

Starting the Final Task

Hey, as you guys know from previous blogs my name is Anya Lucas .  I run track I've been running for 4 going on 5 years, I love track its my way out . I also enjoy, doing hair and I have my own business, my main goal is to become a nurse by the age of 22.  I am a 10th grader and I decide to take this class because I thought it would be a nice way to bring out my creative side and a bonus is that I also get an AICE credit. I decided to work alone on the final task as I did with all my others. I find working alone more efficient for me because I tend to get overly creative. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing but kids in my grade often rely on the easy way out and when I'm doing anything with filming or editing I LOVE to show off my skills. I feel as if working alone on such a big task won't only give me that chance to show off my skills but show my work ethic and creativity. Throughout this whole process I only had one goal which was to get better at filming and edi
