Storyboard for final task


Hey you guys, My group and I have finished the key aspect of our film, our storyboard ! Below is it explained typed out and there is an attachment with visual drawings. 

Minute 1 (Marked with pink) 
-Pan of a dirty house filled with bottles and trash
-Ash walks in stumbling with a drink in hand yelling at anna
-Anna turns away from ash screaming that she’s done 
-Ash walks closer to Anna, trying to convince her to change her mind
-Anna stands her ground and screams at Ash to get out 
-Ash continues to try to get Anna to let him stay, making empty promises. 
-Anna picks up trash and Ash’s things throwing them at him
-Ash gets more angry begging Anna to let him stay
-Ash gets a glimpse of a red letter and decides to just leave
-Ash storms out leaving Anna stressed 

Minute 2 (marked with yellow)
-Ash walks out the door and sits on the front porch
-Looking at the letter ash realizes who it’s from and begins making his way to a nearby alley way 
-In the alleyway, Ash reads through the letter 
-Ash is angered by the letters ambiguity, cursing himself 
-Ash stands outside the gambling ring pacing nervously 
-Ash whispers to himself trying to build up confidence 
-Another gambler past Ash and insults him
-The gambler walks up to the door, says the password and enters 
-Ash cheers more confident he belongs with the right password 
-Ash walks up to the door tried to knock and everything gets inside 

Minute 3 (marked with green) 
-Inside the gambling ring many different people are playing ignoring Ash
-A scream is heard as Ash is taken to his playing area 
-As Ash starts playing he relaxes and becomes more cocky 
-Ash decides to go all in making the dealer smile 
-The dealer shuffles the cards obviously in his favor 
-Ash starts pleading alerting the attention of the guards 
-The guards start to approach towards the table 
-The guards whisper to the dealers ear to which they nod 
-The main guard starts to gesture to Ash to get up 
-Ash pleads trying to convince him to keep playing 

Minute 4 (marked with blue) 
-The mystery man pulls out the document and shows it to ash 
-Ash’s face is seen in a close up reacting to the paper
-The man talks to Ash explaining his situation 
-Ash begins to plead to the mystery man 
-A low angle of the mystery man laughing 
-The mystery man walks in front of the camera 
-Ash is bought to a room where he drops to the floor 
-The mystery man and the two guards stand over him
-The two guards look at each other in agreement 
-The two guards walk into the house and Ash beings to cry 
-Anna is in frame relaxing at her house 
-The two guards walk into the shit and Anna begins to scream 

Minute 5 (marked in purple) 
-Close up of the two men smirking 
-Ash begins to stand up and walk towards the house 
-Ash enters and falls staring to cry 
-The men walk past Ash and enter a car
-Ash face is filled with confusion “What do I do”
-Mystery man and the two guards are in the office working 
-Door is shown of a slow zoom and commotion outside 
-Ash bursts through the door and beings to laugh.

Planning Storyboard for my NIKE Commercial

 First scene: During this scene we will be filming the Nike backpack for the commercial. The shot will be close up and will follow the subject as the actress is walking. This will be shot on the track as the actresses are walking in the gates talking to one another. Second scene: In this part of the commercial I wanted to really get a view of the Nike athletic shorts and tights. So, I will film the actresses doing leg warmups on the turf and get a close up shot as they are moving.  Third scene: This scene will be similar to the second one but instead we will be including the shirts and the headbands in the shot. Comparing La Jetee, the short, and 12 monkeys, full length movie

  Hey guys, for this blog I'll be comparing these two films, one which was a short and then another which was created as a "homage" to the first. Both these films are focused on a sci-fi post-apocalyptic world. The major differences between these is one is that 12 monkeys is a motion picture, and La Jetee is a series of photographs. The film helps to explain the plot which I had originally had trouble understanding, but it brings up the idea of that twist toward the end. In the movie both scenes in the beginning show a death and in both it is a character that we had been introduced to later in time. When bringing this to my short film, I can see the importance of a single scene and its impact on the story. The most important thing as well is the effect of the plot twist that can change the entire films idea and plot. Editing blog-Adding music to our film

 Hey guys, today we added music to our film. As I stated in the last blog we were not trying to rush the editing process. As we learnt last year the music has to be non copyrighted. Well to find our music that we used we just went on youtube. We each went our separate ways to find a sound and then came together with a conclusion. For the actual editing we just used angels laptop. Finding a suspenseful sound is not hard. Finding the right suspenseful sound can be tho. We didn’t want the same suspenseful sounds that you usually here in almost every thriller. We wanted something different. Something we could call out own. We sat down and went through youtube until we found the right sounds. We used two different sounds and made it into one to add suspense. One sound has more bass than the other really creating that feeling.
