Final Task Planning blog

 Hey guys, for this blog I'll be discussing are plans for the final task. More specifically the schedule, location, health and safety, equipment, and possible participants. It'll be listed and then explained in a following paragraph.

 SCHEDULE:

-Shooting: DEC 13-15, 17-18, 22-23, JAN 4-6, 10-11, 17-19 

Back-up: DEC 22-23 JAN 10-14, 17-20

-Editing: week after shooting is done or during if we’re pressed on time

(January 21 through the 28)

     We plan to shoot in most of December starting our midterm week, from there we will try and film in intervals of about two days leading into January. We have some days that are marked for both initial shooting and back-up which will be mainly used as a review day to reshoot old scenes or follow into the next scenes.


LOCATION:

-Angel’s House

-Anya’s House 

-Danniella’s House (possibility)

-Outside Park (possibility)

-Office (possibility)

We plan on having our houses and only two easily accessible public spaces to shoot in. It's easier to use our own houses and change to match our setting. It's easier than finding a place to rent and shoot in and we agreed that it would be easier overall when it comes to transportation.


HEALTH AND SAFETY:

-Adults

-First Aid Kit

-Seatbelts

-Precautions

When it comes to Health and Safety we have our procedures from last year and because we have many more people working in our group that are minors we have more adults present in each location. Along with adults are participants will go over a set of rules to ensure safety and a first aid kit will be present at every location.



EQUIPMENT & PROPS (any possible props and costumes ahead of time)

-Camera

-Phone

-Tripod

-Mic (possibility)

-Car

-Costumes: black suits, dealer outfit, dresses / shirt and tie, make up, ragged clothing

-Playing Cards

-Tables

-Decorations for set: liquor bottles, documents, envelopes, ash trays, cigarettes, 

While this list isn't completed we have what we would consider the most important that's going to be needed for this project. As we know it is likely that we will need more things when it comes to shooting that we can't think of yet and for that we will get the needed items when needed.

    This list isn't completed either because we aren't sure who can make it when needed for shooting and who else we need to add. These are the people we decided would be best for our cast and other people we can use as extra's. We added multiple people and groups from each candidate to keep our options broad and narrow down on when we begin shooting.

Editing Blog- The finale !!

 Hey guys, today is the last day we have to complete any last minute changes. As you guys know we are basically done !! We only have one more day until our deadline. We decided to do one more overview of our film. Though it wasn’t much wrong we decided to adjust the ending. The ending was a bit shaky. It ended kind of rough because of the way the camera was shut off. We usually filmed more than one time of the same scene. We just happened to not have done that this time. To cut off some of the shakiness at the end we decided to add another clip of the same scene from a different angle. By doing this we hoped to not lengthen out the actual time of minute 5 but the actual duration of the scene. We used angels computer of course to edit. This kind of helped with the shaking at the end. It eliminated the very end of where you would of saw the camera being actually shut off. Editing blog-Adding music to our film

 Hey guys, today we added music to our film. As I stated in the last blog we were not trying to rush the editing process. As we learnt last year the music has to be non copyrighted. Well to find our music that we used we just went on youtube. We each went our separate ways to find a sound and then came together with a conclusion. For the actual editing we just used angels laptop. Finding a suspenseful sound is not hard. Finding the right suspenseful sound can be tho. We didn’t want the same suspenseful sounds that you usually here in almost every thriller. We wanted something different. Something we could call out own. We sat down and went through youtube until we found the right sounds. We used two different sounds and made it into one to add suspense. One sound has more bass than the other really creating that feeling.
